During Fall of the Wall Campus Weeks 2014, the Syracuse University community participated in building a symbolic installation of the Berlin Wall. The construction process was led by students from the School of Architecture and Professor Jonathan Louie. During the week the Wall stood in front of Crouse College, students wrote on the Wall, similar to the way in which the Berlin Wall was covered with graffiti over the 28 years it existed. At the end of the week, the Syracuse community helped tear down the wall as part of our Fall of the Wall Campus Weeks 2014 celebration. German refreshments and gifts from the German Embassy were avaiable.
